For the 19th edition of Drawing Now Art Fair, La La Lande Gallery presents works by Sarah Navasse and Aïcha Snoussi, creating a dialogue between identity, intimacy, and fiction.

Through the medium of stained glass, Sarah Navasse combines lead with dry pastel drawings to create a tension between lightness and weight. In doing so, she explores both the visible and invisible forms of constraint that shape our bodies, our choices, and our lives.

In her Disjecta Membra series, Aïcha Snoussi unfolds the story of a mysterious vanished civilization whose buried narratives she brings back to light. The viewer encounters encyclopedic diagrams and talismanic scripts, fragments of scrolls where drawings and inscriptions intertwine, giving rise to a singular visual language.
