For the first edition of Ceramic Brussels, Galerie La La Lande travelled to Belgium to present the works of Mesut Öztürk.
With the participation of Meriem Bouderbala and Gabrielle Wambaugh represented by SBA.
After earning a Master's degree in History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture from Istanbul Bilgi University, where he completed a thesis on Istanbul's informal settlements, Mesut Öztürk turned to artistic practice as a new means of engaging with these issues. His work is primarily rooted in an experimental exploration of the structural possibilities and limitations of ceramics. Through this medium, he seeks to translate his reflections on poetic architecture, ancient artefacts, and urban formations.
