Following its participation in 1-54 Paris, London, and New York, La La Lande Gallery is pleased to make its first appearance at 1-54 Marrakech, taking place from 5 to 8 February 2026.

For this edition, the gallery presents a selection of works by Kaïs Dhifi, Caroline Douville, Evans Mbugua, Aïcha Snoussi, and Adama Sylla—five artists whose practices each weave, in their own way, a dialogue between memory, territory, and identity.

Kaïs Dhifi explores the threshold between myth and fiction through engraved metal artifacts, revealing the vestiges of an imagined Mediterranean territory, while Caroline Douville investigates cultural identity and our relationship with digital media through painting, photography, and installation.

Evans Mbugua celebrates joy and memory through luminous, vibrant works that create a dialogue between history and everyday life. Aïcha Snoussi, meanwhile, revives forgotten civilizations through hybrid ink creatures and monumental calligraphic scrolls, while Adama Sylla has spent more than fifty years building a remarkable photographic archive documenting the social and cultural transformations of Senegal.
