By blurring the lines of reality to reveal the vestiges or traces of a history that she has reinvented, the artist develops a personal mythology that refers to episodes in our contemporary history (gender identity and migration) while summoning up a bundle of intimate references. Her work questions the relationship between drawings and objects, history, memories, ruins and what remains, in organic, poetic arrangements that engage in dialogue with the places she visits in situ.

Winner of the "Prix Sam pour l'art contemporain" and the first "Prix de la Fondation Rambourg" in 2020, for her project "Underwater تحت الماء" an archaeological fiction about a queer civilization rediscovered on the coast of Africa.
