The gallery is pleased to participate in the inaugural edition of MENART Fair Paris, from 27 to 30 May 2021, with a solo presentation by Slimen Elkamel.

Through a selection of recent works, the artist unfolds a universe where personal memory, folk narratives, and contemporary perceptions of reality intersect. Drawing on the rural landscapes of his childhood in Tunisia, his practice brings together symbolic figures, narrative fragments, and ambiguous scenes, maintaining a constant tension between lived experience and the collective imagination.

For the first edition of the fair dedicated to the artistic scenes of the Middle East and North Africa, Slimen Elkamel presents a poetic journey in which painting, fiction, and memory become vehicles for reflecting on the ways we represent and perceive the contemporary world.
